Ever felt like you are getting nowhere?

You’ll be trundling along at a decent pace — claps, views, reads — all of that. Then, things start to slow down. The tapestry of ideas dries up, and you’re back to square one.

As a relatively new writer, I am no stranger to this. One week, I’ll have a fruitful article. The next, a string of rejections will appear in my inbox.

All of this can lead to a quick decline in confidence — never good for in this environment. You are marketing yourself and putting your work out there for the world to see — that takes courage. Losing it can be detrimental to your work.

The thing is though; it completely derailed my confidence. Numbers weren’t increasing at a rate that satisfied me, so I struggled to find the motivation to keep going.

So I decided to do something about it.
