The Secret to ‘Superwoman’ Lilly Singh’s 14.6 Million Subscribers
A look into the benefits of vision boards
14.6 million YouTube subscribers. A reported $20 million net worth. Lilly Singh, formally known as “Superwoman” on the site, has gone from making videos about her Indian heritage to global tours, a feature-length film, and in 2019, the host of a brand new talk show, A Little Late With Lilly Singh, making her the first woman of colour in history to hose a late-night talk show.
It’s fair to say she’s done well for herself. As with any mega-successful person, there are waves of others looking to find her secret and share it with the masses. I’m one of them, and I’m looking at her well-documented use of vision boards.
In a recent interview, Singh said she prefers to keep her vision board attached to the glass of her shower door. As she puts it, “I would like to say I’m the inventor of the Shower Vision Board.”
As with any vision board, the aim is growth — progression to the next stage in your life. Singh says that at the centre of all of her vision boards is “optimise everything.”
It’s a message to remember when approaching a vision board.
